The inflation rate in the consumer sector of Tajikistan for the eleven months of 2018 was 5.1%. For the same period last year, prices and tariffs in the republic increased by 6.4%, the agency Avesta reports.

Last month inflation was 0.4%. In general, since the beginning of this year, food products, non-food products and services have risen in price by 5.1%. Annual inflation - from November 2017 to November 2018 was 5.5%.

Following the results of this year, the Government of Tajikistan plans to keep inflation at a level not higher than 7%.

At the end of 2017, inflation in the country amounted to 6.7%.
