An international bus running between Turkestan and Tashkent began to operate, reports the press service of the akimat of Turkistan region.
According to the press service, it is the first time that regional bus from the Turkistan city goes to the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. This new direction was opened to strengthen trade-economic and tourist relations between the two countries. The bus route is operated by Kazakhstani "Bakdaulet Service" Limited Liability Company and the Uzbek "Uzavtotrans".
"The total length of the route is 335 km, the bus route is 6 hours 40 minutes, two routes are available every day, and the bus route delivers passengers from Turkistan's "Altyn Orda" bus station to the "Tashkent" bus station in Tashkent. The price is 2 thousand tenge from Turkistan, 50 thousand sums from Tashkent" said in a statement.
