For the first time in Uzbekistan, it is planned to build a solar power station in the format of a public-private partnership (PPP), reports the State Committee for Investments of Uzbekistan.

A conference was held with the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Uzbekenergo JSC to attract potential investors for the construction of the first SES in Tashkent.

Representatives of 22 large energy companies and international financial organizations arrived in Uzbekistan to familiarize themselves with the technical features of this project and about the planned dates for the competitive selection.
