The National Bank of Kazakhstan has become a full member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, IOSCO, the press service of the National Bank of Kazakhstan reports.
On November 27, 2018, the National Bank of Kazakhstan signed a multilateral memorandum of understanding on the issues of consultation, cooperation and information exchange of the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
The application of the National Bank of Kazakhstan for accession to the memorandum was approved on November 16, 2018.
Thus, the National Bank of Kazakhstan became the 120th full participant in the exchange of information with other regulators of the securities market in the framework of the memorandum. The IOSCO is an organization uniting national securities market regulators. The National Bank has been a member of IOSCO since 1997.
