The German government to allocate 27 million euros for the development of health, finance, energy, vocational education and innovation in Tajikistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.
“On the eve of the Tajik-German intergovernmental negotiations were held in the capital of Tajikistan. The head of the Central and East Asia Department of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Ms. Kartin Ollers, said that the German government would allocate 27 million euros to Tajikistan,” the message reads.
These funds will be used to develop such priority areas as health care, finance, energy, professional education and innovation.
The meeting participants discussed projects that are being implemented in Tajikistan with the financial support of Germany, in particular, projects for the repair and reconstruction of medical institutions for the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis and the construction of a children's tuberculosis hospital in Maciton.
The meeting also discussed other projects that are being implemented in Tajikistan with the financial support of the German government.
