Shavkat Mirziyoyev to form a new party in Uzbekistan

An ecological party to be formed in Uzbekistan on the proposal of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

A group of initiators held a meeting in creation of the ecological party on November 14th. During the the meeting, the activists discussed the necessity of establishing a special committee to prepare a party plan and registration documents, and to approve the list of founders. Members of the prestigious environmental organizations and public associations took part in the meeting. The activists called the new political party the "Uzbekistan Ecological Party".

Recall, in December 2017, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in parliament: "Instead of allocating financial quotas to environmental organizations every year, it is necessary to create a new ecological party to increase the political activity of these organizations".
