170 Uzbeks held in the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens in the village "Sakharovo" in the Troitsky Administrative District of Moscow will be returned to their homeland at the expense of the Uzbek Fund to support and protect the rights and interests of citizens engaged in labor activities abroad, reports the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan on its Facebook page.

The report says that a delegation of Uzbekistan headed by First Deputy Minister E. Mukhitdinov visited the temporary detention center for foreign citizens on October 31 in the village, which currently holds 170 Uzbek citizens.

“The delegation of Uzbekistan held a conversation with them, got acquainted with the conditions of detention and life. Citizens were informed about the work being carried out by the Ministry of Labor of Uzbekistan to return to their homeland those in the center at the expense of the Fund for Support and Protection of Rights and Interests of Citizens Engaged in Labor Activities Abroad", noted on the the Ministry of Labor of the Republic's Facebook page.
