In Kazakhstan, in July-September 2018, the average monthly nominal wage per employee was 161,783 tenge, and in nominal terms its size increased by 9.3% compared to the third quarter of 2017, in real - by 3.1%, reports the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
In the sectoral structure, the highest nominal wages were noted in the financial and insurance activities - 317.4 thousand tenge (2 times higher than the national average), in professional, scientific and technical activities - 290.2 thousand tenge (1.8 times ), in the field of industry - 232.2 thousand tenge (1.4 times), in the field of construction - 229.2 thousand tenge (1.4 times), in the field of information and communication - 224.9 thousand tenge (1.4 times). The lowest level of nominal wages was recorded in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 106.4 thousand tenge, which is 34.2% lower than the national average.
In the regional context, the highest nominal wages were recorded in the Atyrau region - 310.6 thousand tenge, which is 1.9 times higher than the national average.
