Government services in Kazakhstan are provided in electronic format and over the next two years, this figure will reach 90%. The chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Alik Shpekbayev informed.
“In 1995, we adopted the Law “On Countering Corruption”and the program “Countering Corruption”. At the same time, a law on public service was adopted and an authorized body was created with the status of an agency. The Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025 has also been adopted. Implementation “100 concrete steps. Plan of the Nation ”contributed to the modernization of the civil service and anti-corruption policy,” he said during the meeting of the Anti-Corruption Initiative of Asia and the Pacific in Astana.
According to him, Kazakhstan is conducting concrete work on the digitization of public services.
“Today, 78% of the services provided are conducted in electronic format. It is planned to increase this figure to 90%. Kazakhstan is already among the best countries that have reached a high level of e-government development,” said the Agency Chairman.
