Memorial plaque to figure skater Denis Ten opens in Almaty

In Almaty, a memorial plaque opened on the house where the legendary figure skater Denis Ten was born and lived.

On the same day there hold an official presentation of the Denis Ten Foundation.

The legendary figure skating coach Tatiana Tarasova, who was Denis's coach participated to the event.

Recall, the famous Kazakhstan figure skater, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Sochi, multiple world championship medalist Denis Ten was killed in Almaty on July 19, 2018. Two criminals tried to remove the mirrors from his car, Denis tried to prevent the theft and was stabbed. Denis Ten was 25 years old.
