Seeding of variety grapes, such as, "Caberne", "Sovinon-blan" and "Shardonne" have been delivered to Uzbekistan from France for the production of high-quality French wines

 According to director wine plant "Yankikurgan sharob" Namangane Mashrab Maksumov,lots  of works are carried out to modernize wine industry of Uzbekistan after the visit of the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France.

"The wine industry has experienced stagnation in Uzbekistan because of destroying the vineyards. If the grapes brought from France will work well  not only our plant work, but also other wineries in Uzbekistan", - noted Mashrab Maksumov.

In addition, it is interesting to note that the state budget allocated 30 billion soums to develop wine industry. Moreover, there additional funds for improving 62 wine plants in Uzbekistan.
