Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Uzbekistan a few days ago. The head of Uzbekistan state welcomed him with great hospitality. Earlier, mass media was writing about their cars, colors of their cars which used to meet Russian President. However, we are going to conclude briefly about their agreements which two leaders reached during the meeting.
Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed 12 intergovernmental agreements in Tashkent during this meeting. Of these, 27 billion dollars is interregional, 1,76 billion dollar in trade and 25,3 billion dollar in investment contracts. In addition, the two sides agreed to start construction of the first nuclear power plant in Central Asia.
Under the agreement, the construction of the nuclear power plant to be carried out with the participation of Russian "Rosatom" company. Moreover, Russian President said that he is willing to give a military help to Uzbekistan.
"We are ready for military-technical cooperation. This includes not only the latest generation of military weapons, but also the joint military hardware assembly in Uzbekistan", - noted Russian President.
Generally, the meeting of Putin and Mirziyoyev left impression as if they wanted to reconstruct the system, which Islam Karimov had made. The Russian President did not talk about Islam Karimov, he just mentioned that they built a monument for Islam Karimov in Moscow. Under the rule of Karimov, Tashkent did not accept investment from Russia, and also was not allowed to get military weapons from them. Moreover, Karimov went out of the Kremlin controlled Collective Security Treaty Organisation.
