A long-term contract to increase the export of Kazakh gas to 10 billion cubic meters per year was signed in Beijing. The contract between KazTransGas JSC and PetroChina International Company Limited implies the supply of domestic gas for five years from the beginning of 2019.

All the commitments undertaken under the first agreement on the export of 5 billion cubic meters of gas, signed last year, JSC KazTransGas fully implemented. The signing of an important contract for both countries was preceded by a large diplomatic work of the government and the national company KazMunaiGas.

In addition, to increase the export potential, a serious modernization of the Kazakh gas transmission system was carried out.
