The number of air transport passengers increased by 13% over the year in Kazakhstan, reports Ranking.kz.

According to website, the income of transport enterprises in January-August 2018 exceeded 1.8 trillion tenge.

The income of air transport enterprises accounted for 12.2%, or 224.8 billion tenge (growth for the year - by 18.1%). The number of passengers of air transport in January-August 2018 amounted to 5.5 million people, which is 12.7% more than the same period last year.

The weight of air transport in passenger traffic as a whole grew from 0.03% to 0.04% over the year.
