India to provide Tajikistan with $ 20 million in donations for development projects identified by the two parties,the press service of the President of Tajikistan informs.
"During the meeting held between the presidents of India and Tajikistan - Sri Ram Nath Kovind and Emomali Rahmon, among the important development projects were identified such as the international North-South corridor, which will reduce the time and freight traffic between India, Central Asia and the CIS . Including this, India will provide Tajikistan with $ 20 million in donations,” the message reads.
The President of Tajikistan thanked Nath Kovinda for this assistance. The interlocutors also spoke in favor of increasing bilateral trade, investing and developing economic activity, taking into account the potential of the two countries.
The head of Tajikistan, in turn, called on Indian entrepreneurs to invest in the fields of industry and agriculture, industrial technologies, electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies, etc. He also suggested considering the possibilities of investing in SES.
