In the textile and clothing industry, the industrial production index increased by 29.1% due to an increase in the output of cotton fiber, fabric, carpets and carpet products.

According to the source, for the specified period the amount of textile exports amounted to more than $ 149.6 million, which is $ 71.6 million, or 92% more than the same period last year. Of the total exports, over $ 106.9 million is accounted for by exports of cotton fiber.

In light industry, an increase in food production is also observed - by 2.3% due to an increase in the production of flour, meat, sausages, canned goods.
