Negotiations of the working groups of the Uzbek and Kyrgyz governmental delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border took place in Kyrgyzstan's Kyzyl-Kiya city on September 4-30, 2018, Uzbek media reported on Oct. 2, reports Trend.az.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, the delegations reviewed the results of field surveys, and continued the description of the remaining parts of the joint border.

A protocol was signed on the results of the negotiations.

During the previous negotiations, two sites were described within Uzbekistan's Fergana Province which borders with Kyrgyzstan's Batken region.
