For half a year, Kazakhstanis received KZT 12 million for reporting corruption, said Deputy Chairman of the Agency of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Olzhas Bektenov during an online conference.

"Today, special attention is paid to the issues of encouraging citizens who reported on the fact of corruption offenses or otherwise assisting in countering corruption. In 2017, 226 persons were rewarded, to whom KZT 31.3 million was paid, for 6 months of this year 82 individuals - KZT 12 million," he informs.

He recalled that the procedure for rewarding is regulated by the relevant rules approved by the Government of Kazakhstan.
