Pension savings of Kazakhstanis increased by 54.7 billion tenge in January

Pension savings of depositors as of February 1, 2019 amounted to 9,432.4 billion tenge, an increase over January 2019 by 54.7 billion tenge (0.6%), reports the press service of the National Bank.

"In January 2019, there was an increase in the "net" income from investing pension assets by 15.4 billion tenge, which as of February 1, 2019 amounted to 3,707.4 billion tenge," the message reads.

The number of individual pension accounts of contributors for compulsory pension contributions (considering IPAs without pension savings) as of February 1, 2019 amounted to 9.9 million accounts. The amount of pension payments in January 2019 amounted to 31.5 billion tenge.

The main share of the cumulative investment portfolio of the UAPF as of February 1, 2019 is still occupied by government securities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and corporate securities of issuers of the Republic of Kazakhstan (43.3% and 29.2%, respectively, of the total pension assets).
