Since 2018, corruption facts have been revealed with the participation of 700 high-ranking officials, said Chairman of the Agency of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs Alik Shpekbayev.

"Practically, in all spheres, systemic facts of corruption are revealed with the participation of high-ranking officials. Over the past six months alone, more than 700 people have been exposed, 18 of them are from the republican, 95 - regional, 101 - city and regional levels. Among them are the vice-ministers of energy, the responsible secretary of the foreign policy department, the chairman and deputy chairman of the committees of the Ministry of Agriculture, top managers of national companies, heads of law enforcement agencies, as well as judges of various levels,"A. Shpekbayev said  at an expanded meeting of the board of the department.

According to him, since early 2018, criminal groups have been exposed with the participation of officials of the state revenue departments in the South Kazakhstan region and the city of Almaty, employees of the internal affairs agencies of Akmola and Mangystau regions.

In addition, according to him, the Agency protects the rights of more than 300 businessmen, which is three times higher than in 2017.
