Uzbekistan is on the sixth place in the world in terms of export of apricots, reports the East-fruit portal.

Over the past year, the country has reduced the volume of fruit exports - from 50 thousand tons to about 23 thousand tons. Uzbekistan was ahead of Spain, Turkey, France, Italy and Greece.

In 2016, Uzbekistan was on the second line in terms of exports of fresh apricots, second only to Spain.
