Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan intend to accelerate the process of demarcation of the state border, reports the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Of Uzbekistan.

This was stressed during the five-day talks of the governmental delegations of the countries in Tashkent.

"The parties reviewed the results of the field surveys conducted in some sections of the state border, and a protocol was signed in 2003, in which the parties stressed the importance of speeding up the demarcation and final legal registration of the Uzbek-Kazakh border," the Ministry informs.
