Specialists of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) work together with experts of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan to implement a project to prevent natural disasters on Tajikistan's roads, reports TajikTa.
The project was launched in April 2017, which provides technical assistance and seminars for road workers in the Gissar Valley, Sughd Oblast and the Rasht Zone to reduce the risk of natural disasters on the country's highways.
Also within the framework of the project, JICA provided technical equipment and equipment for the successful implementation of the project. The technical means were distributed among the road builders.
This year, a group of specialists from the Ministry of Transport will go to training courses in Japan to study the program. Also, a training trip of Tajik road vehicles to Japan is planned for the next year.
The project to reduce the risk of natural disasters on the roads of Tajikistan will continue until 2020.
