Since March 2018, the Kazakh carrier has been granted permission to operate all available aircraft between Kazakhstan and India, reports the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
"Regular international flights to India have been carried out since 2004. The passenger traffic between our countries annually grows and has a huge transit potential, so in July last year regular flights from Astana to Delhi were opened to Almaty already," the ministry said.
Over the past years, a Kazakh carrier has encountered restrictions on the use of certain types of aircraft by the Indian side, even with a technical capability.
"As a result of the work carried out by the Civil Aviation Committee with the Indian aviation authorities, since March 2018 the Kazakh carrier has been granted permission to operate all available aircraft between Kazakhstan and India," the report said.
