Chairman of the Parliamentary faction of the People's Communists Vladislav Kosarev is puzzled why no member of the Government did not go to the ArcelorMittal Temirtau, which miners are protecting.
‘I am surprised that there is no representative of the Government in Karaganda today. Tamara Duissenova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population supervised the regulation of this issue from her office. The foreign company should be responsible for the condition of the working mine to the Government. And they should put in a responsible position ArcelorMittal Temirtau’, he said.
The protest action continues at eight mines of ArcelorMittal Temirtau. Mayor of the Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov held negotiations with the miners.
Recall, on December 11, the miners of ArcelorMittal Temirtau refused to rise to the surface after the night shift, demanding to increase their wages by 100%, and reducing the retirement age to 50 years.
