"On October 8-9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to visit the Republic of Kazakhstan, this is an official return visit. I recall that the Kazakh Foreign Minister was on a visit to Moscow on January 28 this year," she said.

According to her, during the visit, Lavrov’s meetings with the leadership of Kazakhstan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov are planned.

"There is a detailed exchange of views on pressing issues of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation in common interstate associations, such as the CIS, CSTO, SCO, EAEU, also at the sites of leading international organizations, primarily the UN and the OSCE," the diplomat noted.
