Ferroalloy production in Kazakhstan in January-August amounted to 1.5 million tons and increased by 7.8% compared with last year's figure, is indicated in the monthly report of the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy.

According to statistics, for 8 months. 1.5 million tons of flat products were produced (-25.6%), refined lead - 89 thousand tons (-12.3%), zinc - 216 thousand tons (+ 1.6%), refined copper - 313, 3 thousand tons (+ 11.8%).

Iron ore production for 8 months increased against the same period in 2018 by 0.9% and amounted to 28.7 million tons.
