In June 2019, in Tajikistan, 11.6 thousand people applied for employment services in Tajikistan (19.4% more than in the same period last year), of which 8.9 thousand people were employed, the country’s statistics agency reports.

“In total, more than 77 thousand job seekers were registered with the Tajik labor and employment agencies at the beginning of July this year,” the message reads.

The number of vacancies at enterprises declared in employment services at the beginning of July compared with the same period last year increased by 12.3%, and amounted to 10.9 thousand places. In working professions, the number of jobs increased by 25.8%, and amounted to 4.9 thousand jobs. The number of officially registered unemployed in labor agencies at the beginning of July amounted to 52 thousand people.
