The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstani people on Constitution Day.

"Dear compatriots! Congratulations to all of you on Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan! History convincingly testifies to the desire of our people to the rule of law, to ensure fundamental human rights and freedoms. The Constitution of Kazakhstan, incorporating the best world experience and practice, as well as historical and national traditions, serves as a solid foundation for the unity of the people and the Independence of our state. Next year we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Basic Law, which for all these years has been a solid guarantee of creation and progress. Having formed an integrated legal and socio-economic system, Kazakhstan has embarked on a comprehensive modernization", - said Tokayev.

Besides, he noted that Kazakhstan's goal is improving standard of living, as well as improving the political system of the state.

"Our goal is high-quality economic growth, ensuring the social needs of the people, improving their standard of living, as well as improving the political system of the state. Our Constitution will continue to successfully serve the interests of our citizens, contribute to the further development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
