Today the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbay Jeenbekov at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, will make a short working visit to the city of Isfara, reports the press service of the President.
“The heads of the two states at the cross-section of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border will meet with representatives of the communities and the elders of the village councils of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan,” the report reads.
Further negotiations will take place in the city of Isfara. The sides will discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the processes of delimitation and demarcation of borders.
Negotiations of Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Emomali Rahmon will continue in the city of Cholpon-Ata, where the meeting in Isfara will be summed up. The heads of the two states will discuss the whole range of cooperation issues and prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
