A telephone conversation took place between Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports the press service of the Kyrgyz President.

During the conversation, Sooronbay Jeenbekov warmly congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, wished good health and continued success in government activities.

The heads of state also discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed participation in upcoming international multilateral events.

At the end of the telephone conversation, the heads of state reaffirmed their firm determination to comprehensively develop mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen the traditional Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan relations of friendship, good neighborliness, alliance and strategic partnership for the benefit of the two fraternal peoples.
