Uzbekistan is organizing the production of medicines for treating oncological diseases.

According to the Ministry of Justice, a presidential decree was adopted (No. PP-5707 dated April 10, 2019) “On further measures to accelerate the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the Republic in 2019-2021”.

“In 2019-2021, the production of 10 groups of medicines will be localized. Among them are antibiotics, antiviral drugs and drugs for the treatment of oncological diseases,” the report reads.

The resolution also approved a roadmap for the accelerated development of the pharmaceutical industry of the republic for 2019-2021.
