The World Junior Weightlifting Championships will be held in Tashkent in 2021, reports the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

This was discussed during the World Junior Weightlifting Championships, which is held in Las Vegas. Under the auspices of the International Weightlifting Federation, a number of events are being held.

“At the meeting of the executive committee of the organization, various issues were considered and the hosts of future world championships were identified. If you remember, then in 2018, Tashkent organized a high-level competition at the World Youth Championship, and now we will take the world championship among juniors in 2021. The tournament is scheduled for the month of April,” the message reads.

In addition, it was decided to hold the World Youth Championship in 2021 in Saudi Arabia.
