Japan intends to develop cooperation with Tajikistan, in particular, to support the development of the private sector in the republic, reports press Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan, Jamshed Jumahonzoda, met with Head of the Representative Office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in RT Hideki Tanabe and discussed a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation, also issues of mutual interest," the message reads.
“Strengthening friendly relations with JICA is one of the main directions of foreign economic activity of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan. Therefore, we attach particular importance to the development of our relations with Japan and are committed to their growing and expanding development, supporting the private sector, ”said the Chairman of the CCI of Tajikistan.
H. Tanabe also confirmed the intention of the Japanese government to promote cooperation with Tajikistan in the development of medium and small businesses, in particular, financing and supporting the activities of business incubators, start-ups, and training. For this purpose, a three-stage JICA project is being implemented.
