According to preliminary data, the gross domestic product of Tajikistan in 2018 amounted to 68 billion 844 million somoni ($ 7.3 billion), reports the statistics agency of the country.

Per capita GDP in Tajikistan over the last year increased by 725 somoni ($ 76, 9). The population of the republic at the beginning of this year reached about 9.1 million people. Thus, the GDP per capita is 7 thousand 565 somoni ($ 803).

The volume of GDP produced in Tajikistan in 2017 amounted to 61 billion 93 million 600 thousand somoni ($ 6.5 million). Then, for every inhabitant of the country there were 6 thousand 840 somoni ($ 726.1).
