“On August 19, the IAEA delegation arrived in Tashkent, headed by Deputy General Director and Head of the Department of Nuclear Energy, Mikhail Chudakov,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

According to the Uzbek Embassy in Vienna, the visit program includes negotiations with the leadership of the Ministry of Energy, the Academy of Sciences, the State Committee for Industrial Safety and the Uzatom Agency.

As noted, M. Chudakov to meet with teachers and students and deliver a lecture on modern atomic energy development in the world.  Also he will also visit Samarkand State University and Information Center of Atomic Technologies of Uzbekistan.
