The chairmen of ministries and departments of the two countries, the chairmen and members of the business circles of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, as well as more than 200 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses attended to the forum , reports the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the event, the participants noted the dynamism of the development of bilateral relations, the strengthening of economic ties and industrial cooperation, increasing the volume of trade. In confirmation of this, the free trade zone “Uzbekistan-Afghanistan” was opened, opened in the border zone in the spring of this year - a new project that opens up broad prospects for intensifying trade relations between the two countries.

The forum also included a cooperation exchange and negotiations in B2B and G2B formats. Agreements have been reached on establishing new and expanding existing contacts between business entities of the two countries.
