The next, sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) will be held in 2022, the Tajik TA reports.

On June 15, the fifth CICA summit took place in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) in the Kohi Navruz complex. Following the meeting, the summit participants adopted a final declaration.

The next, 6th CICA Summit will be held in 2022 and the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the countries - in 2022, the final declaration says.

To attend the CICA summit in Dushanbe, leaders of states and heads of governments of CICA member countries — Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, India, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cambodia, China, Korea — gathered , Mongolia, the UAE, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, as well as observer countries - Belarus, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Ukraine, the United States, Japan.

The summit was covered by about 650 domestic and foreign journalists.
