“On May 28, within the framework of the official visit of the Federal President of Germany F. Steinmeier, a business briefing and a round table were held in Tashkent”, the press service of the Ministry of Investment and foreign trade of Uzbekistan.

The events were attended by German President F. Steinmeier and Uzbek Prime Minister A. Aripov. The agenda was presented in the format of panel sessions on specific topics:“ Investment framework conditions ”,“ Training ”,“ Digitization ”,“ Financing structures , the message reads.

The sides discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic relations and the implementation of joint projects in the fields of energy and infrastructure, as well as strengthening cooperation in science, technology and education. As part of the negotiations, it was repeatedly announced that relations between Uzbekistan and Germany in recent years have moved to a new level of strategic partnership.

Following the results of business events, it follows further that agreements were signed in the fields of energy, information technology, and financial cooperation.
