In Tashkent, 1815 individual entrepreneurs who have owed 219.7 billion soums (more than 26 million US dollars) in taxes and financial penalties were written off, CA-News portal reports with reference to the State Tax Inspectorate.
Reportedly, all these entrepreneurs were forced to stop their work due to the fact that they could not repay their debts and fines.
524 people who returned to entrepreneurship in Uchtepa district were charged 39.3 billion soums (4.6 million dollars) of debt. In Almazar district of the capital, more than 80 billion soums (9.5 million dollars) of debts from 229 people who resumed entrepreneurial activity were written off.
The State Tax Inspectorate called on businessmen with tax arrears to get rid of their debts and resume their activities by July 1 in accordance with the established procedure.
