In the first quarter of 2019, microcredit organizations of Kyrgyzstan issued loans worth 6 billion 215.5 million soms, reports the National Statistics Committee.

According to the Statistics, 133.8 thousand people received microloans. Compared with 2018, the figure increased by 36.4 percent, and the volume of microloans issued - by 1 billion 506.8 million soms.

The largest amount of microcredit was issued in the Osh region (1 billion 261.4 million soms), Bishkek (1 billion 179.7 million soms), Jalal-Abad (907.1 million soms) and Chui (849.5 million soms) regions.
