Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Uzbekistan from May 29-30 to attend the first meeting of the joint commission at the level of the heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan on May 30 in Tashkent, Akipress reports.
Dmitry Medvedev and Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will hold the first meeting of the joint commission. The Russian Prime Minister will then meet President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The talks will address a broad range of relevant cooperation issues in trade, economic, investment, education, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The sides will also consider implementation of major joint projects in energy sector, industry, transport, high technologies, agriculture.
The agreements on cooperation in various areas will be signed.
