It is reported by the Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktygul Jeenbaeva at a government meeting. 

According to the Ministry of Finance, as of December 31, 2018, the size of external and internal public debt amounted to $ 4,464.4 million, or 311,834.67 million soms.

“In 2018, total servicing of public debt was 23,747.7 million soms, of which: 7,082.8 million soms were paid to interest, including 6,697.3 million soms on external debt, debt - 3 385.5 million soms. 16 664.9 million soms were directed to repay the principal amount of the debt, including 8 245.5 million soms on external debt, 8 419.4 million soms on internal debt,” the Minister of Finance informed.
