The statistical committee calculates quarterly the size of the subsistence minimum, which includes the minimum set of food products and its energy value. The subsistence minimum in the first quarter of the current year amounted to 4 thousand 681.31 soms. Compared with the same period of 2018, it fell by 4.2%. The decline was noted in all regions of the republic.

The highest subsistence minimum in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Jalal-Abad region, it is 5 thousand 36 soms. The lowest in Talas oblast - 4 thousand 186 soms.
