The Kazakh diaspora, together with the embassy of Kazakhstan organized a meeting where children could communicate with their peers and learn more about Kazakhstan, reports 24kz.

According to the statistics, Ireland ranks first in the adoption of children from Kazakhstan among European countries. There are 150 young compatriots living in the country who have found new families.

"The adoption program began its work 15 years ago. Every year we hold events where adoptive families gather and share news. Some of them travel to Kazakhstan and come back with pleasant impressions", - said the head of the state adoption agency, Patricia Carey.

Kazakhstan diplomats at the meeting stressed the importance of supporting the continuous cultural connection of adopted children with their historic homeland. They recalled their readiness to provide all necessary assistance in organizing such meetings, as well as visits of children to Kazakhstan.
