Kazakh President meets with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Kazakhstan Zhang Xiao, reports the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the progressive nature of the development of Kazakhstan-China relations and expressed confidence in their further strengthening for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

In turn, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Xiao conveyed to Kasym-Jomart Tokayev congratulations from President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China on assuming the office of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also assured that he would make every effort to further develop bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership.
