The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his condolences to the parents and relatives of the children who died in the fire in Astana, reports the press service of Akorda.

"There was a tragic accident in Astana yesterday night. As a result of the fire, one family lost five children. I express my condolences to the parents and relatives of the children.

In this respect, I charged the Government and Mayor of Astana Bakhyt Sultanov with the necessary assistance to the parents. Mayors of all regions, together with the competent authorities, should strengthen control to ensure fire safety, as well as conduct appropriate inspections and conduct public awareness activities.

Recall, five children from a single family have died in the fire in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the deadly fire.
