Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and France amounted to $ 4 billion

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagyntayev held a meeting with representatives of the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by the President of the Chamber, Director General of KATKO LLP Gerard Fries, reports the press service of Kazakh Prime Ministry.

The discussion covered issues of bilateral cooperation in the investment, agriculture, energy and digitalization sectors. In addition, plans were considered to work together to further expand the Kazakh-French relations.

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and France in January-November 2018 amounted to $ 4 billion, which is 27.3% higher than the same period of the previous year ($ 3.1 billion). Exports from Kazakhstan to France in January-November 2018 increased by 27.7% and amounted to $ 3.4 billion.
