Kazakh citizens can travel to Tajikistan for up to 30 days without registration and conversely, Tajik citizens will be able to travel to Kazakhstan for up to 30 days without registration, reports Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kassymov at the plenary session of the Senate of the Parliament.
Especially, the law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the order of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was adopted.
The agreement was signed on March 14, 2018 in Astana.
"The agreement stipulates that citizens can stay in the territory of the two parties for up to 30 days for up to 30 days without registration and have 90 days in the territory of the parties. Ratification of the agreement allows legal regulation of the presence of citizens on the territory of the parties. In July 2018, the agreement was ratified by the Tajik parliament. The adoption of this law does not entail socio-economic and legal consequences", - noted the Minister.
