Migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Russia would like to teach their children the Kyrgyz language. Deputy of the Parliament Abdyvahap Nurbayev stated at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security, reports the news agency 24kg.
According to him, the Kyrgyz diasporas in Russia are concerned about the future of their children. «Their children forget Kyrgyz, so they want to teach them the native language. Migrants are ready to render financial support if they are allowed to open schools at the legislative level. As we know, Turkey has opened private schools for its migrants in Germany,» the deputy told.
A candidate for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia, Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov, promised to consider this issue if he is appointed.
"I think that there are no obstacles for this, if migrants are ready to solve financial problems by themselves", - said Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov.
